Commercial Insurance Advisor


Western Financial Group Insurance Solutions is looking for a Commercial Insurance Advisor to provide excellent customer service to our clients and support and grow our national insurance programs. We’re looking for an analytical, organized and detail orientated professional with a proven track record of developing relationships with Canadian businesses.

Reporting to the Manager, Commercial Service, our Commercial Insurance Advisors are passionate about growth and innovation, constantly striving to improve so that they can better support our clients.   • Protect policyholder assets through product knowledge and awareness of current market conditions
  • Analyze clients’ risks and exposures and provide options and solutions for their consideration
  • Reviewing each policy within the client portfolio annually to ensure that all coverage limits are adequate
  • Provide accurate and timely processing of customer documentation, including policies and endorsements, within WFGIS’s guidelines and practices


About you

  • General Insurance Level 1 License is an asset (Fundamentals of Insurance or CAIB)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in the face of adversity
  • Must be passionate about helping people, self-driven, and determined to succeed
  • Demonstrated talent to grow and develop relationships with our existing clients, new clients, industry related associations and our community
  • Experience managing a book of business or relatable work experience
  • Capacity to provide exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
